When it says GMT I thought that meant US time zone. Are most of you posting from the UK or Europe?

GMT = Greenwich Main Time (thats world time).
PST = Pacific Standard Time (=GMT-8h)
EST = Eastern Standard Time (East Coast) (=GMT-5h)
The server is located in EST. I need to check the configuration to see if the forum reports the correct time (maybe I need to tell it that it is on EST).
Hope this helps. GMT is a way of referring everyone to the same timezone, even if they are from different parts of the world.
As you know the US has 6 time zones:
Eastern Time
Central Time
Mountain Time
Pacific Time
Alaska Time
Hawaii Time
Thats why usually GMT is used as a common reference in most bulletin boards. Even most operating systems (like Windows) define timezones relative to GMT.
EDIT: You should be able to choose your time zone in your profile and then you should see all times referred to your own timezone instead of GMT.

| I'm new here and I'm from the San Francisco Bay Area in California. I glad I read this topic because I had my time set at GMT+8 in stead of GMT-8. Funny what you can learn from these things.
