TV Guide recently talked to Eddie Izzard and posted the interview online today. Eddie answers questions like 'Do you see a moral ambiguity in The Riches' setup, since the Malloys are appropriating a dead man's life?' or 'As a Briton, what is your impression of the American dream?'

Thanks for the link. I liked the interview, thought it was pretty good, albeit a bit short.
I liked what Eddie had to say about "the American dream". That was a good answer.

Nice interview. Not really short in my opinion (replying to Emilie)

yes I thought Eddie's reply towards what the "American Dream" was, was pretty accurate. Though then again he forgot the main part on which the "American Dream" also involves greediness beyond any measure. Besides that I thought the whole interview was good.

Good point. In general, I think that's true and it's something I have issues with. On the other hand, I know people who actually started out with nothing and made "the American dream" come true for themselves, while staying true to their roots and without getting greedy.
I guess, a lot depends on the type of person you really are.

yes dahling, I do agree with what you said. it really does depend on what type of person you really are. though then again doesn't everyone want the "American Dream?" I mean I just like the idea of being a gypsy like the malloys... Very Happy
