Izzard can make it happen, though it sounds like there's nothing really set yet.
I think The Riches would do well as a movie.

No replies, not really interesting I guess. Actually, I'm sure forum readership plummeted after the show was officially canceled. Or everyone moved to therichesmovie dot com.
He mentions independent funding and "guerilla-style" filming. In other words, cheaper to make. He says writers are writing. I think it's a good idea; new shows generally don't do that well in the first couple seasons unless they're targeting the mainstream and have huge corporate backing. The second season was clearly unfinished and limited by the strike. By now there are fans and hopefully reruns, so a movie could do well.
