As Doug's boss, this real estate mogul has designed his mansion after Herman Goering's summer palace.
He has a live fire (shooting gallery) range on the back patio.
Hugh: "You should see the bunker..."
And I've imagined how the bunker scene should go:

/cue "Girl from Ipanima"
After a long tense moment riding the elevator to down below the Edanfalls water table, Hugh introduces his war-room to Dahlia.
Swordfish flat screens plaster an entire wall running a nuclear war simulation.(DEFCON from Introversion and Uplink too).

.
Scene closes as Hugh explains the triangular box displaying an American Flag.
Hugh: "That's Herb, my younger brother. He bought it in Iraq."

Although he is such an A$$, Hugh is one of my favorite characters.
Hugh is a taker. He doesn't wait for anything to come to him and he doesn't complain if he doesn't get what he wants.
In the last Episode - Reckless Gardening we learned that Hugh was born poor and that he took what he has now.
This shows in his character. Hugh has many rough edges and he doesn't care about other people.
He symbolizes the real American Dream much more so then Wayne, which means you have to become an A$$ to succeed in this world and you have to learn to take what you need without regard for others.
Hugh is a perfect demonstration of the deterioration of our society, which values people like him much higher then people with morals.
However Hugh has a human side also.
In the last Episode we learned that he was once a Drug Addict. Well actually we already learned that in Episode 3. When he catches Dahlia taking pills he simply states "Been There, Done That".
Hugh has many faccetes to his character, but mostly he is the product of his own success.

I "like" this character or rather "I like to hate him". He's a fun one to watch.
I also like the actor, I think he does a great job of showing how corrupt Hugh is.

I hate Hugh, or like Emilie, I love to Hate him, I can't decide which. He is a crazy {unfriendly word}. He keeps making strange decisions, like wanting to keep Dahlia around even after she stole all that money from her.
