| Dale has played a vital role as a major nuisance to the Malloys since day one. In my opinion he has all the cards in his favor right now. Even though Wayne said they weren't partners anymore Dale keeps on persisting through everything. He has a job as the mail boy at Paanco, and is plotting with the Irish guy (forgot his name) to somehow make money off of this Bayou Hills deal. From what I've seen and heard from this Irish guy is that he has killed, and would be willing to do it again. So that got me thinking that maybe he would be the one to kill off Dale, after or during the Bayou Hills deal and collect the money for himself. Just a thought, but I think Dale may be written off towards the end of this season.

Interesting question, SmoovD.
Looking at the overall picture of the show, it would surprise me if they'd kill off Dale, just because he has been such an integral part of the show. He is a pretty big threat to Wayne and Dahlia at the moment; so a huge element would be missing without him on the show. Then again, they like to surprise us with their twists and the unforeseen.
Looking at what we know about Quinn so far, I can easily see him killing off Dale to get his hands on all the money. He seems pretty ruthless and what makes him really dangerous is that he is pretty smart as well. That's a scary combination. He could actually "take over" as the one threatening the Malloys.
But I do like Dale on the show; he can be pretty creepy and adds another layer. So I am going to vote 'No.'

| I've been wondering that too, and it would sure make things easier...if they do though, I don't think they'll doo it just yet.

| I think Dale will live, he is a needed ally against Eamon Quinn.

Good point. Up until the last comment, I was thinking that Quinn would eventually kill Dale and become the Malloys' new arch nemesis. (Side question: Why does there always have to be a recurring main bad guy? I honestly don't like that part of the formula.)
But Wayne and Dale have, in an odd way, been getting closer. When Quinn stuck that fork into Dale's arm... well, my first reaction was "Oh, that's gotta hurt!" My second thought was that Quinn and Dale may be temporarily allied and after Wayne, but Quinn obviously has no respect for Dale and wouldn't think twice about getting rid of him once he's outlived his usefulness.
This presents the possibility that when it hits the fan and Quinn makes his big move (whatever that is), Dale might somehow come to Wayne's rescue, or at least side with Wayne. They are both Malloys, after all, and kin is kin.

| What I am not sure of is since Eamon has respect for Wayne and not Dale if He, Quinn, sees Wayne as a threat and will try to get rid of him (Wayne). Clearly Quinn is a threat I am not sure WHY. Maybe it has to do with Ginny Dannigan and her "powerful friends" and why she shot him (Quinn). I am pretty sure she was talking about Dale when she mentioned "powerful friends" The most powerful people in that camp/clan seem to be Malloys (Wayne, Dahlia, Dale, and prior to his death Earl) and Earl is dead and Wayne and Dahlia are no friends of Ginny's.

It all depends, I guess. It's not like he hasn't done it before. He did kind of "help" Wayne with the Pete situation. But I always felt it was not unselfish. He wanted to get in on whatever Wayne was doing and so Pete was as much a threat to Dale's plan as he was to Wayne and the rest of the family.
It could also be that Dale really intends to go along with Quinn but at some point Quinn will try to cut Dale out of it. And that's when he might decide to help Wayne instead. I mean, they all keep switching sides so often, pretty much anything is possible at this point.

I don't know, I see Dale as being friends with her as much as I see Wayne being friends with her at this point.
