One thing I have noticed is that when when Eddie Izzard's character is being "Wayne the Traveler" (meaning not really trying to convince anyone that he is Doug Rich) they always dress him in leather. He wore a leather vest in season 1 whenever he was at the Traveler Camp and then when dealing with Pete's body and Dale in Friday Night Lights he is wearing a leather jacket.

Has anyone else seen any other costuming themes?

Yeah, I noticed the leather jacket theme as well. Dale also does often wear a leather jacket when not trying to impersonate someone else.

Now I am TRYING to figure out Cael's Shirt in Trust Never Sleeps and Dead Calm. The front left looks like it says Disorein** is the last letter "C" "E" ?is that the whole word?

The back looks like it says V**** L****
Maybe a band t-shirt? I can't tell and searches are turning up NOTHING.

I think it says "Disorient" on the front (perhaps even 'disoriented'.) Which pretty much spells out Cael's current situation. I couldn't make out anything on the back of the shirt though. It could definitely be a band t-shirt. Whatever it may be, I think they were just looking for something that had the word or something similar to it on the shirt.

This is quite fun. I never before paid attention to this kind of stuff. I like how they include these small hints and pay so much attention to details. Smile

Wow, that's awesome. Perhaps you can give us some more insight. And point out some choices you think they made to bring something across, etc.

The things you guys see.
I think leather makes more sense when you are pulling dirty jobs. It can be wiped off more easily.

Steve, while what you have noted has a practical purpose for Wayne. My education tells me there is more. To use the example of Romeo and Juliet, a play that everyone knows. Even a freshman costumer will assign the Montagues and the Capulets each a color, say red and blue respectively. As the play progresses each will add some of the other's color until the death scene when they are both dressed in purple. Costumers work with a character arc and a color/material pallet to match. Choosing a different material for Wayne's costume at different points (esp. one as obvious as leather) has meaning I promise you ... and if I am taking you too literally or misunderstanding you, my DEEPEST apologies!
