Di Di is a typical teenager, sarcastic and struggling to find her place in life. Having spent two of her teenage years without her mother, she seems unsure about her place in the family. When it temporarily appears that the family will split up, Di Di chooses to stay with her father.

| Dehliah seems the most put-together of the entire family. Everyone else has some kind of looming conflict hanging over their head, but Didi just seems to have it all together. If there's anything to misdirection, this could mean trouble - perhaps in the form of the boy next door.

Di Di had sex with her boyfriend and was brave enough to admit it to her father.I envy her for that I would'nt have ever of had the guts to tell my dad the truth like she did.Di Di is one of the coolest character i've ever seen.

Or lied about lying to put her parents at ease. Who knows.
----
(spoilers)
"You're not coming to work with me tomorrow."
"That's not what Jenny said, she said if she gets mad, she's gonna tell the cops about Mrs. Malloy violatin' her parole."
----
"Why are you marrying me then?"
"Your sister is threatening me. She says that if I don't marry you, she'll send my mom back to prison."
"No she won't"
Ken had a change of heart, or he's far more dull than he seems. To bring it back to Didi, she may have changed her mind a bit after he said he'd protect her.

| I have to feel sorry for DiDi, she played mom for so long to Sam but she still wants to be a kid and couple that with finding someone who's not (no offense here) someone who looks inbred or psychotic, and who seems to like her for her alone,.... it's no wonder she's taking charge to hold onto things as smoothly as possible.

| She didn't seem to do a lot towards the story though. She was there to give a reaction to what the other characters were doing. In fact, with the last episode of the season, she was terribly weak in explaining the RV to Nana ("No Nana, we live next to you, you know that"). She's a great actor for that, the Alan Rickman sort of incredulous or sarcastic disdain reactions, but hopefully the new season has her acting out her own plots -- more than just the normal adolescent girl things. Didi's full acceptance of the "buffer lifestyle" limits what they can write about her difficulties with transition into it.
