| What the heck happened to Eric? Didi completely fortgot about about him and moved on with some random guy.

| Was he the guy from school who played guitar? I always figured either he wasn't available for the second season, possibly due to the writers' strike screwing up everyone's schedules, or they didn't want him back. I wasn't really impressed with either the character or the actor to be honest. So they hooked Didi up with the security guy, who's probably even lamer. At least the first guy played guitar and smoked dope.

| Maybe Eric moved. He didn't do a lot on the show, not a very highly developed character. Didi and Eric had similarities, so it helped to integrate Didi to Eden Falls, but they weren't very interesting and he wasn't particularly tied to Eden Falls. With the new guy being lame, Didi is the devious one. Her being innocent has been played, so now she is the corrupter. She also has access to the keys to every other house now, so I'm sure that's something the writers wanted to have to play with in the future.

I never really thought Eric stood out at all, although leave him was a big deal for Didi in the first season finale. They probably didn't want to give him a story and they didn't want to just drag an actor along for nothing.
And i don't think the new guy is lame. He does have keys to all the houses, true. But there is something bigger. The story between Didi and the security kid, i cant remember his name right off the top of my head, started back in "the last temptation of wayne" when we met the new head of security who is the kids father. remember the guy who tries to take the gun from Dale. He also gave Wayne a lot of s**t about cleaning up the neighborhood. The writers of the Riches always foreshadow very subtly, and i believe Didi's relationship with the kid is gonna blow up into yet another suspenseful near exposure of the truth...
