Seems Eddie has been/is pretty busy right now making his rounds on talk shows.

Not only will he be on The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson on May 25th (see post above), but he will also be on Late Night with Conan O'Brien tomorrow, May 23rd, NBC at 12:35am.

Ooh, good, I'll have to try and catch it. I hate it, everytime one of my favorite people are on talk shows, I always find out just too late.

Oh well, if I remember it I will stay up late to see whats going on.
Eddie does a great job promoting the show. Without him it wouldn't have become such a big success.

I'm sure you know by now, Dahling, but Eddie's "Late Late Show" appearance was cancelled for some reason. He was on Conan, though, and I caught that (thanks to my dear, sweet insomnia).

Fortunately Conan didn't spend all his time talking over Eddie, as he is wont to do most of the time with his guests. I like Conan as a stand-up comedian (he's so whacky!), but I can take only so much of his interviewing "skills".

Anyway, Eddie's segment was much too short, and most of the time was spent on non-Riches talk. And Conan had only seen (part of) the pilot, so that's all he mentioned. Still, I hope enough non-viewers got interested enough to tune in.

Yeah, I was really hoping the show would get a bit more promotion out of it. You'd think a talk show host would be more up to date on his guest's current projects.
Oh well, like you said, maybe some of the viewers got interested.

Oh, good, I saw Conan, but forgot all about the Late Late Show.
You would expect them to talk more about the show wouldnt you?

I caught Eddie on Ellen Degeneres and then later on the Tonight show.
He sure knows how to entertain.
He even got Jay Leno a bit confused about pronouncing "herb".
"It has this big 'H' at the begining of it. You must be thinking of the French."
Sooner or later someone is going to mention Guinness Draught.
In the U.S. it is kinda rare to get it on tap, but common for pubs in the U.K.
Our P's and Q's originally came from "quarts and pints" ya know.
Ishh ah whole new shlanguage. Laughing

And Eddie is keeping busy: he is scheduled to be on "Last Call with Carson Daly" tomorrow, May 30th, at 1:35am on NBC.

Eddie was also chosen as a presenter for the upcoming Tony Awards. They will air on TV Sunday, June 10th, at 8:00pm on CBS.

Cool

I caught the Jon Stewart interview with Eddie on June 7th but posted a description over HERE.
Turns out he has an important role in Ocean's Thirteen.
Anyone remember the Rat Pack? and Ocean's Eleven?

Yeah, I remember reading (or watching) and interview with Eddie where he talked about his scene. Back then he said that he wasn't even sure if it would make it into the movie. Glad to hear that it did. From what I read, critics liked it too. Good for him.

Eddie is keeping busy during his break from filming "The Riches". According to his official webpage, Eddie is playing gigs of his new solo show, a work in progress.

He will play at the Los Angeles' Coronet Theatre June 25-30th and at London's Arts Theatre July 3-7th. Tickets for the L.A. performance are available through ticketmaster.com, which also shows that some of the later shows have been canceled (for now).

Hey all, just joined, and am a huge Eddie fan. (Some of you make recognize my username... Razz )

I can't wait for the second season to start! I agree that his way of speaking, and general Eddieness, gives something extra to the show.

I think he definitely carries the show. Driver is just so unbelievable. In response to his "good looks" I think he could stand to lose a little weight. That's just my opinion though[/quote]
