Wayne (played by Eddie Izzard) is the father of a family of "Travelers".
No morals and a deep love for his wife are his two main character traits.

| I wouldn't say he doesn't have any morals. He lacks many of the morals expected by mainstream American society. In the first episode of the Riches, however, he puts his family first in everything- a moral that much of mainstream society lacks.

I guess you are right. However in this case I tend to agree with "mainstream American society".
Huh, I never thought I'd hear myself say that.

I agree, he has morals, just not what is expected by the "norm" . What exactly is his background? he seems very intelligent. I would not want to live life as a gypsy, per se, BUT, I do not know what their lives were like, so I kind of like his priorities. The American Dream- whatever that may be, was hijacked years ago, IMO. LOVE the show.

It always amazes me how Wayne wiggles his way out of trouble.
Every time I think "he won't get out of that one" and before you know it, Wayne comes up with an ingenious idea (and if he doesn't Dahlia is there to help him out - they are a good team).
Regardless, I am always amazed how he can keep up this sharade so long.
At first I thought it would be impossible to pull off the lawyer (liar - according to Hugh) but so far he has done well.
