Recently, Minnie Driver sat down for a chat with The Envelope. Asked about what drew her to the character of Dahlia, she said “She’s a million miles away from me...” She also admits that it’s fun going to the dark places and that it is “magnificent” to play Dahlia.

According to the actress, another season pick-up for “The Riches” is still up in the air, partly due to a shortened second season. But, “The people who have discovered it love it with a compelling passion.” Now she is hoping that they will get a fair shot at further developing their audience.

Minnie Driver also talks about what it really meant to her to receive an Emmy nomination for “The Riches”, her undeniable chemistry with Eddie Izzard, and much more about the show and her “other” career as a singer.
