"The Riches" Receive Three Nods At This Year's Satellite Awards 

On Friday, the International Press Academy announced the nominees for the 2007 Satellite Awards and their is reason to celebrate for "The Riches". Because the show did receive not one, not two, but three nominations for its freshman year. 

Minnie Driver received a nomination in the category "Actress in a Series, Drama" for her role of Dahlia Malloy. She will be competing against such names as Sally Fields, Glenn Close, and Kyra Sedgwic.

Eddie Izzard also received a nomination in the category "Actor in a Series, Drama" for his role of Wayne Malloy. He is competing against James Woods, Hugh Laurie, and Denis Leary, to name a few.

Finally, the show itself received a well-deserved nomination in the category "Television Series, Drama". 

Winners will be announced on December 16th during the ceremony held in Century City.
